Dear Shiddy,
I humbly submit to you the weeknight musings of a tired poet and a punchy house-husband:
It gives me an embarrassing amount of satisfaction.

where two female colleagues bring home the bacon. and then bitch about it.
except, three's company was actually in the center
ReplyDeleteTechnically the front door in the show Charles in Charge was the center. The kitchen had an entrance as well, but it was more for informal entrances.

Notice the in the intro where Scott Baio’s title he comes in through the front door which is behind him and the following scene where it’s behind him. Granted it’s sort of cock-eyed so they come through at an angle to the right, but all technicalities aside, it’s in the center of the room vs. left or right.
Trust me, I’m a Scott Baio expert and I have no problem admitting that.
I ENJOY TO EAT NACHOS.
ReplyDelete"Center" should probably be "up", as in up-stage. The front door for Three's Company was up-stage.
ReplyDeleteActually this isn't a Venn diagram. The objects in the intersection should possess both the properties belonging to the objects in the original sets. A door placed in the "Center" is not placed "Left" and "Right" at the same time.
ReplyDeletetoo close for comfort, also upstage center, unless you're talking about the daughters' apartment, which case it was on the right.
ReplyDeleteOk, but Happy Days had a door from outside to their living room on the left for the first two seasons and then the door moved to the right side around the same time Richie's brother Chuck disappeared completely and no one noticed....
ReplyDeleteWelcome Back Kotter actually had both. While the classroom door was on the right, Gabe and Julie's shitty apartment had a left- side entrance.
